Fellvale, Oregon is a town split in half, an hourglass housing two worlds. In one, Vince and Aviva are college students barely passing exams and paying rent. In the other, they’re night-life stars, standout performers at the local Hot Seat Theater.
Then they hear a scream off the side of the road. Despite every warning ever not to follow any sounds of peril into the woods at night, the two set off in search of answers. What they discover is a new, perilous side of Fellvale; the Wardens, a society of people sworn to protect and keep secret a creature called Igreck who lives trapped in a comatose state beneath the mountains.
As the worlds of Fellvale begin to bleed together, Igreck starts to cry for help and the lives of their loved ones are threatened, Vince and Aviva realize they’re on the front lines of a fight they never thought possible.
